Book Title: GoldenGirl (Bradford Novel)
Author: Micol Ostow
# of pages: 193
Publisher: Simon Pulse (January 27, 2009)
Paige, Spencer, and Madison have it all: the looks, the connections, the money, the boys. As the daughters of three of the most prestigious families on Philadelphia’s Main Line (read: old money, and lots of it) and the ruling juniors at Bradford Prep, nothing can stand in their way….except, perhaps, their own dark secrets. When an old frenemy from Paige’s hidden past shows up at Bradford and plays nice–too nice–Paige is desperate to smother the threat. How far will she go to silence the truth?
The secrets and scandals of Bradford Prep are revealed in blog format. The books stand alone, but extensive online content, including an interactive social networking site, plus all-new chapters and alternate chapter perspectives, offer additional insight and intrigue.
A twist of Gossip Girl and something else that I’ve read kinda known as reality in some schools. I was a little confused on the two different blogs. Were they the same or two whole different ones? And was the point of view only from Spencer? Because I thought atleast one of them was from Madison, well unless it said by … whomever. Hopefully someone may help me here. The characters are just told enough to want you to know more about them. Secrets are hard to keep. Right? GoldenGirl was a pretty fast read, so if your looking for that and something with a twist then grab this book!
I really want to read the next book/s in this series.
Well, I was trying to get the countdown on here, but it wouldn’t work.
So oh well for that. I am not the best computer-apt person, here. But GoldenGirl releases on January 27, 2009! So mark it on your calendar along with Envy: A Luxe Novel by Anna Godbersen.! I’ve hear the Luxe series is really good. However, I personally haven’t read them.

Rima–I’m so glad that you liked my book! I can clear up a few of the questions that you had.
First of all, the first book is told from Spencer’s point of view, so the bulk of the blog entries are from her own blog (All That Glitters). However, Bradford Prep also has a separate school blog (The Bradford Blog) that any student can post on. In the book, the different blogs are separated out via heading (though the type isn’t different, so if you aren’t paying attention it can be a little confusing, I admit!). That’s why you have a few cases of places where people like Madison and Paige have posted on the Bradford Prep blog.
As for the school, believe it or not, everything you see in the books and online is completely fictional! Our goal in creating the extended web universe was to build a fully immersive book and online experience for readers. So not only can you visit the school website, but you can also sign up to read twitter feeds from the characters, add them as Facebook friends, and read their private blogs online.
Does that make sense? It’s like having all kinds of fun extras once you’ve finished the book.
